| added particle (Dust) effects to show movement.
1st question out of my sons mouth.. why is the thing at the background moving too? removed the backgroud sprite till I work out a more realistic effect. perhaps a slight and slow movement of the sprite. |

| Just noticed that World_Builder is working on something similar. Ahh well plenty of customers to go around, and we'll all get killed by the X-Box big boys.

Add orbit code. Set up chase cam. Delink camera from focus ship.
Add random particles to show movement. Add status panel. Add radar panel. Add Nav Panel. Add control selection panel with radio buttons. Add Blitz Network Code. Add chat overlay code.

| Started on a 3d version of a 2d Space based trade game I havn't worked on in several months.
Lighting corrected for natural light and proper shadow effects.
Types created for planets and ships.
Orbit mechanics worked out.
Backdrop sprite positioned and scaled.
Code added to move the camera, backdrop, ship as one. Had a problem related to moving camera while tweening. Removed the tweening code and will reinsert later after researching.
Looking good, really jazzed now. |
