| Ok, about time I posted some updates on my work.
Currently working on 6 projects -
> Gary Linekers Superstar soccer (remake of C64 game).
> Durban Indoor Soccer
> Badger Golf
> Full Blown Firefight
> Sniper Frogs
> Dictator
The others are coming along in dribs and drabs, however I have started on Dictator.
The game is a pseudo remake of a 1983 DKTronics ZX spectrum game where you are the Dictator of a small republic country. The idea is you have to keep the peace with the secret police, workers, landowners, Army and the Leftotans.
The more you upset a group the more likely they are to start a revolution, or assasinate you.
The game itself was text based, pretty simple but I personally found it lots of fun (been playing it a lot on a Speccy emu on my Jornada lately!)
Anyway I decided to have a crack at making Dictator 2002. It will be more graphical (mouse driven main menu etc) whilst attempting to retain the humour and playability of the original.
To start off I will be adding only a few extras, however if people can think of improvements let me know.
Oh and as well as the leftotans there will be another nation to keep the peace with :)
Screenshots should be available shortly on my website (will update here when they are available, gimme a couple of days!)
And hopefully the first beta will be out in the next few weeks.
As for all the other work above, its all on hold :)
