| Project starting to get interesting.. i managed to get killed by the APC controlled player. Cause now APC can attack player with AXE.
next thing to add is APC home cordinates.. so apc kan have a watch place.

trouble. i think i get out of buffer error. 8192 is limit :) more than that my netcard wont store.
ill trying to solve this issue by sending Big packet. but it dosent work.. i have to experment more about how to handle packets before i can continue devlopment.
It works now but its so laggy :( |

| Added the first APC controlled player. It has 2 modes. mode1 Stand still and looking for players online. mode2 Hunt player.

| I have optimised network cordinates update. it only sends packet every 200ms. (This way i can spare server cpu.)
Also i structure the code a bitt. (And it still works :)
Also i added Delta movement to Network player. so now movement is always smooth for network players. |

| Added frame limmit code.. and frame speed up code. (for slow macines) like my laptop .. i locked frame at 40 millisecs = 30 fps. Frame limiter works charter moves at same speed on all my machines. and its smooth too on the fast ones. I also fixed some camera bugs.. (No more camera go under whater and no more camera go under mesh) Also i started the game server again.. v0.06 :) i will now try to clean up the code !

| iam planning new Api to player. There will be an offline mode then player lets cpu controll the player.. and player trains kills and robber porlittle monsters. This is a dificult task and to start player only will be able to pick a spot and attack aliens around him. offcurse it will take about 2 min before next attacks again (this is cause online player still will be able to gain more lvl that on. and offline player will stop attacking monster if player attack that monster. and so on.. |

| New powersupply 400watt and cpu is on 60c when windows runns... not good. spu fan is working at 3000 rpm..
foud problem.. answare is "thermal paste" i have probaby dried it out while troubleshotting hardware.
its done !.. Right now i am stressing cpu.. using only 1700 rpm processor heat is about 57 c... normal speed is whole 6000 rpm. and max processor heat is 90 c.. i have a monitor installed to larm me then cpu is hotter than 75c.
Uppdate 18:05 Cpu now running with old server core at 54 c.. 1700 rpm on cpufan.

| Good news... i know whats wrong with the server... it was the power suply that burned.. not processor not motherboards.. it was powersupply ! i testet server with my game pcs power and it worked..
Bad news is that i cant afford new power supply to server right now.. 2 months more at least.. i have already byed processor+fan+motherboard... and now i have to by a new supply... at least i learned somthing.
tomorrow i will try to exchange powersupply to server.. and see it it can stand test of time once again... |

| Got some Good news.. The new processor is working fine. and the new cpufan is too working verry silent indeed.. Bad news: 1) My second grafix card has burned.. But its still ticks annyway (Trash fans on gfx cards now days) 2) It was not Cpu that burned the old server.. its probalby the mother board. so i have to go an by one cheap motherboards. if not mother board its probably the transformator :/ it keeps skpeaking "System boot failuer" to solve it i decided to order new motherboard.. i will cal local dealers tomorow. |

Iv started on coding the engine again. Added a layer of terrain. to be drawn befor the detail mesh is drawn. that way it goes more smoth around here. and it worked too ! but i had to flip the world.bmp other wise blitzterrain was mirrowing horisontal for strange reason. |

| Light in tunnel. I finnaly getting somewhere with new my game engine. It can dismount and replace vertives and triangles. at command i can remove triangles from my terrain. saving huge processor power. (At the cost of memmory) i have tested my engine on a 1024*1024 bitmap. and it works greate. to be done is to change the uv maping too. after that i repost my showcase once again :) |

| I mannaged to store a triangle in array. and i mannaget to get it out of that array and put it in a type. this way i will manage free_triangles eg 0,0,0 i will be able to delete random access triangles. sends thay have there own invidual vertices. if there are no free avaiable triangles i create a new one. |

| i had have a loong break.. I today find some time to restart projekt. now when i know how to write a accurate tcpip gaming protocol, I will start with planing the new graphics engine. cause of the virus attack my temp server had. i had to taket it down permanent. i am planing to release the new server at the 1 april. i recreated the sowcase entry.
UPDATED: 18:40 local time World Engine update. curently i am using anoying line pick. but i think it will have to go.. cause i stored whole world in a big MATRIX array. so i have fast random access to it. if i want i can dig a hole and make caves and underground worlds. that is bigger than the world. eg alice in underland. |

Ripped out gui.. and so on.. this way i managed to get my little exe to compile widout errors... so maby i cold get back to my game soner than i tought.. --- That little rat -- it is about 1.500 kb Huge EXE file.. to call 1 DLL ! | Restarted the server this night. All is fine user data is reloaded from hard disks. :) the server saves users data every 10 muinit to disk. So if something happends to server no one losses his her status.Anny way i plan to devlope some tonight. maby i implement that rankinglist. |

it will have a fix for the chat slowdown.. And i hope to fix some cheat bugs.
I also plan to include a LVL=X then source is acceable. this means then user reach a specefic level the source of the game will be available. (as a thank from me for testing it.)

| An working options screen has been implemented in game engine. Fullscreen, Windowed sellection supported. Quit Game too :) ... Also a helpscreen is displayed then u press F1. To come to menu press ESQ. this means players have to press esq to quit current game... Next thing is to try get it work better. :) not having to reload every thing cause of a screen res change. :) |

| Working on the level system. it now works. but i have some buggs to complete before taking it online. Also next version you going to have to register a user account. (its free) cause i dont think annyone loves to play game and increse level for ours and then u quits its all gone :) so before next release 1) Register user rutine must be done. 2) Save player datas. 3) Case of above a new server login rutine. 4) options screen must be done. Change res,quit and save.
i think above will be done this weekend. Also this means i cant release current source code, and next source code will not be available. because of cheating is to easy. |

| I have worked hard today. I managed to test with player from Italian, Finland. it worked pretty good. and now i have a status bar for player health, and player gets hurt by counter attacks from the bushes. Still i need to write level text on status bar, and points to next level etc.. (thats what rpg is all about.. Grow strongest !) Anny way tomorrow i must finish then dmg system. and do a killed animation and respawn. |

| Have started to reprogram game network basics again ! I think i got it this time. i use port 80 to upload and download. later i will add more ports. i managed to get login working. version check functions normal. but game cordinates is not quiet ok. ill fix that tomorrow night. Models is frezen untill i got the networks basic ok.
network basics rocks ! Port 80 !! Now i got to optimize cordinates updates. (so they run as fast as the network connection) Server sends all users cordinates. then server awats cordinates from user before sending more. this way server never goes to fast and dont do a buffer underun.

Now its done ! New client version. It support verry basic chatt. and a now you can kill the blue things. The one that names that particualr monster will win a FishersHutt in this game for free.
I am currently working on battle the bush. Iam also working on a new version checker.
after that i start work on a simple broadcaster system.
What a nasty bugg i found. i missspelled chec and chek. it caused a new user to alway be new every 15 tiks. :) what a wounderfull mosnter. look at screen shoots :=)
(about fishers hutt in this game.) in a fiishers hutt other players can steal your stuffs then u offline. (later in game) i supose other wise you will sleap on ground, and anny one can lumber you. your gold. and food. whater.(things that you dont is weapons and armour) you can sotore weapons in it. and fisher tools too.
(about fishers hutt in real world.) fishermen stores there fishing net etc in them. some sleaps over night in some of them. this hutt comes from a fishing hutt village on a swedish island caled gotland. The village is called Kovik fiskelage. |

| SERVER IS ONLINE ! Screen shoot Of "BUSH" the slime :)if u kill em they split to two. (but some what buggy). downlink fails. and it retry and retry.. so on. some times it even buggs out. cause of connection fails.
it got basic network components. It detects user logins. it detects user that ends o lose ther connection and log em out. it sends and recive user cordinates.
it works behind FIREWALL ! tcpip port 80 and 81 must be open for outgoing connection.
I also uppdatet both server and client. next releas i plan to include an version checker. Mean time i better keep all small. and a chat rutine. (it will be using broadcast chatt)

| I took some hollyday picture and putted it on the houses. and i have a core server plan ready to be implemented. tonight if i wont go to sleap. time plan to get the server running untill weekend looks good. the network core can now Request username,Login user,Recive cordninates. i plan to integrate the core to game tomorrow wensday. now i goto sleap for a while |

| I startet this little project. An simple map editor. A simple game engine is starting to run.
not much to say more right now. its open source.
GameServer is none existing yet. i hope to get it upp and running next weekend. (A verry basic server it will be) |
